Ah, the Fire Swamp—known for its blazing flame spurts, lightning sand, and, of course, the fearsome Rodents of Unusual Size. But you’re a brave adventurer, determined to uncover the mysteries of this perilous place firsthand. And what better way to blend in with the locals than by donning this Plus Size R.O.U.S. Costume inspired by The Princess Bride? Channel the legendary rodents themselves as you prowl through the swamp—or at least your next costume party.
Design & Details
This officially licensed Princess Bride costume brings the infamous Fire Swamp denizen to life in all its furry glory. The jumpsuit is made from long-pile faux fur, giving you that untamed, rodent-like look, while fabric ties at the back of the neck ensure an easy fit. A stuffed velour tail is sewn to the back, adding an extra layer of authenticity to your rodent transformation.
The headpiece is where things get delightfully monstrous. Soft-sculpted velour ears and nose, along with plastic eyes and felt teeth, give you that recognizable R.O.U.S. snout. The headpiece fastens with a hook and loop closure for a secure fit. Finally, foam-backed velour shoe covers feature faux leather claws at the front, completing your transformation into a true terror of the swamp.

We’re pretty sure that Buttercup would have never asked Wesley to venture into the Swamps but we’re pretty glad the tour of the place began.
