Design & Details
The centerpiece of the costume is a vibrant orange dress made of matte satin, designed to mimic the iconic Monarch butterfly pattern. The bodice features black crisscross lacing for added definition, while the asymmetrical skirt flows with printed wing designs that flare out at the sides. A hidden zipper in the back makes for easy changes, so you can transform without the need for actual metamorphosis.
Soft black mesh sleeves are speckled with white polka dots, adding texture and movement to the look. The dress is designed with comfort in mind, so you can flutter freely, flit dramatically across rooms, or just hover near the snack table with grace.
The included wings attach with elastic bands that fit over the shoulders. They feature wire shaping along the edges to help them hold form, so they don’t droop when it’s time to make your entrance. To top it off, the plastic headband is wrapped in soft fabric and features two springy black antennae that bounce along as you move.
